Perl — Chapter Three

Inside Perl stood in the living room with its backpack over its shoulder and looked at Eve and Adrian who stared back at it.

“Can I get you something?” Adrian asked.

Perl laughed. “Such as?”

“Tea? Coffee?” Eve laughed out loud. Adrian turned to her. “What? What else am I supposed to do?”
